taro

taro is a multi-window MUA written in plan9 C and uxn and using the xrxs framework, which serves as a primitive but useable GUI for mblaze.

The application consists of:

• taro.9p: a simple 9p service which acts as an mblaze proxy
• taro.rom: a uxn/varvara frontend that reads and writes the 9p filesystem
• taro-reader: a shell script to read mail, run in a terminal and spawned by taro.9p via its 9p service
• taro-compose: a terminal running mcom from mblze, spawned by taro-ctl via its 9p service

taro.rom supports operation by mouse and keyboard, .theme file, uf2 fonts, and window resizing.
